La película se estrenó tal día como hoy, hace justo 60 años. No recibió buenas críticas y se considera una película menor d ela primera etapa de la carrera del actor. Pasa desapercibida porsituarse entre grandes pel´ciulas como La heredera y Un lugar en el sol. Su concecpuón de casi documental y su declarara parcvialidad hacen qu haya envejecido un poco mal esta película propagandóstica del bloqueo de Berlín.
