En este número de mayo/junio de 1950 de la revista Movie Fan, aparecía el nombre de Montgomery Clift en la portada anunciando un reportaje del interior (aunque el título del mismo no se menciona). En una portada enteramente dedicada a Betty Grable, hay un pequeño apartado donde se nombra a 5 actores y en primer lugar a Montgomery Clift.

Hollywood Yearbook 1950

En este anuario de 1949 (publicado en enero de 1950), con la simpática June Allyson en la portada, hay un reportaje de Montgomery Clift titulado "A new kind of dream guy" ("Un nuevo tipo de chico de ensueño" sería su traducción) que recoge unas fantásticas fotos de Monty acreditando su condición de chico ideal:

La foto del desayuno tomada por Kubrick de 1949, la de las admiradoras de 1948, una escena de The Heiress y la foto que sirvió de portada a la biografía de Patricia Bosworth tomada también por Kubrick en 1949.

Photoplay.- nov 1956

Esta edición británica de la revista Photoplay, de noviembre de 1956, posterior por tanto al accidente de coche que sufrió Montgomery Clift, tenía un curioso reportaje sobre las relaciones entre Liz y Monty y los líos sentimentales de ella. Merece leerlo.

Sheila Graham fue una columnista de cotilleos de Hollywood (también conocida por su relación con Scott Fitzgerald) y se conserva este artículo suyo donde declaraba su fascinación por 10 hombres, inclutendo a Montgomery Clift.

Cine Revue.- mayo 1953

La revista fancesa en su número de 1 de mayo de 1953, ofrecía un reportaje sobre I Confess. Cabe destacar lo tardío que se habla de la producción, casi un año después y cuando Montgomery Clift ya había rodado From here to eternity (que se estrenaría en agosto de ese mismo año).

Por otra parte, señalar que si bien en España se respetó el título original, en Francia se llamó La loi du silence (ques es como en España se llamó On the waterfront, de Marlon Brando).

Revista francesa que recogía la entusiasta crítica de Chaplin a la película A place in the sun (Un lugar en el sol, 1951). Cabe recordar que Monty ya conocía a Chaplin con el que jugaba al tenis durante el rodaje de The Heiress (La heredera, 1949). Ver post.
