"Padre, si hubiera tenido que comprar un hombre, hubiese comprado a Morris".
Una obra de arte se mire, por donde se mire, dirigida por William Wyler (fabuloso el "tio").
Una película sobre verdades ambiguas, verdades que hacen mucho daño. Con una atmósfera claustrofóbica.
Hablar de "La heredera", es hablar de la impagable Olivia de Havilland, con esas expresiones y esos gestos, donde todo es perfecto, y como no soberbio.
Pero tampoco se queda atrás el fenomenal Montgomery Clift (Monty, paea los grandes amigos), con ese poder de atracción, y en donde uno pasa de odiarle hasta el infinito al principio, para luego tenerle verdaderamente pena, allá al final (qu bueno eras, amigo mio).
En fín, un peliculón del gran Wyler, en donde consigue dar una lección de auténtico cine, y recordándonos al mismo tiempo, que el amor y la traición tienen el mismo peso. Saludos!!!
